there's something unique about the summer evening session. it's not just the heavenly light, or the warmth of the air, but the fact that it's so natural for mom and dad and kids to be out playing in the yard on a long summer night. it's the ritual of a happy family, i suppose, and always a privilege to photograph what will become precious memories ...
sandy, my amazing other mother (or mother in law, if you must) treated grace and i to eleven o'clock tea at laura's tea room yesterday and we had a divine time. having tea is one of the many traditions sandy has gifted to her grandchildren ... tea parties begin at approximately 16 months and with real china. wynn is an old pro by now and will remind us, if we happen to forget, that HE NEEDS CREAM. you've never seen anything sweeter (and not because he also requests three teapoons of sugar).
one form of communication that my sister and i share (besides thrice daily phone calls) is sending each other links to the little happies we find online. oh the endless possiblities! i could fill a year's worth of posts with those links alone ... but i think i'll just pop in to share my favorites here and there.
... for the facebook crowd. i'm happy to announce that low res, web ready files of each individually ordered print will be included with minimum orders of $450. images will be stamped with "ally breazeale photography" and may be posted on your facebook page or blog. and here's a sweet little sample for you ~ happy sharing!
i really love these kids, this session, and the feeling of just being along for the ride. as a photographer, i much prefer to capture a moment instead of creating one, and these two gave me lots of opportunities to do just that.
